About artist Kate Goldstone

I'm Kate Goldstone. I have an art degree from Brighton College of Art and Design, and I paint landscapes.

As you'll see from my work, I adore colour. The colours hidden in everyday landscapes inspire me: the bones of the land, its lush covering of plants and trees, the UK's remarkable geology and ever-changing seasons.

I was brought up in the gritty industrial north east of England. I lived in Brighton for thirty five years, my spiritual home. Now me, my husband and our two cats - Dave and Steve - have settled in rural north Devon. All three places inspire my paintings.

As well as selling canvas prints of my own work, I sell prints of curious, eccentric and unusual artworks I've found online, in charity shops, and gathering dust in antique emporiums. They're exciting enough to deserve a special spot on anyone's wall!
