South Downs footpath

Looking due south towards Brighton, this is just one of Sussex's many glorious public footpaths. Together they join up to create a world-class network of gorgeous walks, literally hundreds of miles. Hiking through a field of yellow oilseed rape towards the South Downs and home, a violent thunderstorm approached and I just had to paint the view. Made in acrylics and mixed media.
